An evening of cupcakes & conversation

It was great to support Dope Readers Club's new Written in Black conversation series to mark the National Year of Reading, and celebrate Black authors.

For the first event of the series, we were joined by Rufaro Faith Mazarura, author of 'Skate It Till You Make', a witty and entertaining hockey rom-com.

She delved into the book's themes, shared her storytelling journey, and explored concepts that were both inspiring and insightful.

The event closed with a Q&A session, followed by book signings, chatter and guests enjoyed vanilla and chocolate cupcakes.

So glad to have been a part of this event.
